Brett’s Bands for SUDEP Awareness is breaking tradition this year! Join us Saturday September 6, 2025 as we celebrate Brett’s birthday by embarking into the world of pickleball! Whether you are a novice or cut-throat baller, we have the place for you! Grab your partner, lace up your sneakers, and get ready for a morning of fun at Chicken N Pickle Overland Park, Kansas. In traditional Brett’s Bands style, we will have SWAG bags with some fun items to show your Brett’s Bands support! Newly released t-shirts with our mission to raise awareness will be available in sizes Adult small to 2XL for $20!

Brett’s Bands educational efforts are extending into the community primary care offices through literature. Epilepsy brochures with SUDEP education for patients and caregivers are available upon request.
What’s next for Brett’s Bands?? Reaching state leadership! SUDEP is a sensitive subject for doctor’s to discuss, but it is their duty to provide education to their patients! Written literature MUST be given to each patient at diagnosis. Additionally, SUDEP risk should be re-evaluated annually. Uncontrolled seizure activity must be aggressively managed.
